book help?

i know i should be giving you a nice post about my recent travels, and i promise you completely there's a nice post about granada and seville in my drafts that just needs to have a couple more photos added. hopefully i'll post it today. tomorrow at the latest.

but for now, i would be so unspeakably grateful if anyone could help me.

you see, my grandmother has emailed me today. i always love about this time before christmas, where everyone's getting in the mood and there are christmas puddings hanging from my grandmother's roof when i come over, and when everyone's christmas lights are up. sometime around now i'd go over to my grandmother's and we'd go out to the shopping center, to borders, and i'd help her pick out books for everyone in the family.

but now, since she's all the way in australia and i'm all the way in spain, she's emailed me and asked if i know any books to get some of my cousins. and the things is, i have no idea what the two eldest might want. one is in year twelve this year and the other is fifteen. the only thing i can think of for them is The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold, and i'm not quite sure if they've read it or not. does anyone have any suggestions for good books for a 15 and 17 year old? pretty much all i know is that they've read the twilight and harry potter series (i'm not very helpful, i know) i'll be so, so grateful for any suggestions. thank you so much!♥

  1. hello, dearest grace!
Well, I am so very fond of literature and so I may be able to help you out.
If they are girls, they would love "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" by Betty smith, and if they enjoy a more childish read, Alice In Wonderland. are they as magical as you? I would stray away from mainstream books that teenagers purchase, for the very best ones are in the literature section.
    hope that helped♥
